Why This Firm Exists
The doctrine already exists. It just doesn't work here yet.
The United States is building strategically significant capability inside private companies at a pace not seen in generations — compute, launch, autonomy, microelectronics, power. The security doctrine equal to that buildout already exists. It was written inside government, for facilities and programs where failure was never an option.
But that doctrine assumes a security apparatus these companies do not have: a facility security officer, a construction security plan, a technical security program, a counterintelligence relationship. The requirements arrive by contract; the capability to meet them does not.
The people fluent in that doctrine rarely leave government. We did — deliberately. Both of us are service-disabled veterans whose careers ran through the federal space — the Army and the intelligence world on one side, the Air Force, the Department of State, and the Central Intelligence Agency on the other — and both of us took MBAs into the private sector because we wanted to work at its speed.

How we practice
- Candor over contract value. If you don't need us, we say so. If the cheaper fix works, we recommend it.
- Vendor neutrality. We sell no hardware and take no referral fees. Our only product is judgment.
- Independence from the assessment. We prepare you for accreditation and certification decisions; we don't grade them.
- Discretion. We don't name clients, publish case studies with fingerprints, or market on your risk.
- Standards as floor, not ceiling. Compliance is where protection starts, not where it ends.
- Say what we don't know. Where a question belongs to a cognizant authority, a certified specialist, or counsel, we say so and coordinate.
